Cutting the Wedding Cake

Dinner can't be complete without dessert, and dessert at a Wedding can't begin without cutting the Wedding Cake. It is a tradition that dates back to Ancient Rome. The fun and emotion of Cutting of the Wedding Cake is easily amplified when it is accompanied by a song. When the Wedding Cake becomes center stage for this traditional part of the Reception, it is symbolic as one of the first tasks that the Bride and the Groom will take part in as a Married Couple. It also provokes one of the first decisions the Bride and Groom will each have to make as part of a Married Couple, to smash or not to smash?
