Sometimes referred to as the "Bride's Formal Entrance", this takes place after the members of the Wedding Party have taken their places. There is usually a brief silence. followed by the Officiant asking the Guests to "Please rise". A new song will begin which will accompany the Bride as she "walks down the aisle". The Bride commonly walks alongside her father, or another member of her family who will be "giving her away". When the Bride and whomever she is accompanied by reach the front of the Ceremony area, the song fades away and the Officiant begins. The songs below are commonly chosen to accompany the Bride's Formal Entrance.
