Tossing the Bouquet

Tossing the Bouquet is the evening's opportunity for one of the single ladies at the Wedding who hasn't tied the knot with her Mr. Right yet to hurry things up a bit. Tradition says that whoever catches the Bouquet at the Reception will be the next to "walk down the aisle". When the time arrives for the Bouquet to be tossed, the DJ will turn down the music and make an announcement inviting all of the single ladies in the room to the dance floor. This is the part when the ladies commonly take the opportunity to make the gentlemen look bad by enthusiastically rushing to the dance floor, and creating a large and eager group. There is rarely any convincing needed to motivate the single ladies to get out to the dance floor for a Bouquet. Even though ladies are quick to jump right in and participate, Tossing the Bouquet just wouldn't be right without a fun and exciting song accompaniment!
